Jammin'

I have been up to my eyeballs in #strawberries this weekend.   It's not a bad thing, although it may be a little excessive.   Let me explain.   I am not a domestic diva. I rarely spend a lot of time on cooking. In fact, I would even sa

Cleaning up after dinner is hard

I usually get up at about 6 am and all day long there is a steady stream of household #chores to tackle. Sending #children to school and picking them up later, cleaning the house, washing dishes, cooking meals, laundry and taking care of my 2 year old as

What goes on at night?

One night, it was getting rather late. Only my 7 years old son and I were up. He was watching #cartoons on TV and I rather firmly told him to go to sleep. He looked at me and asked very suspiciously, “And what are you going to do when we are all

Diary – Wednesday 28th January 2015

Dull as the proverbial dishwater up to the evening when I went on a Northern Quarter of Manchester city centre bar crawl, despite wind, hail, rain, and later, snow.   I caught a bus to the first sanctuary from the elements, The Angel Inn, in Collyhu

Kitchen Allergy In the Morning

I am a strangest person you will ever meet! People with allergy are sensitive to all kind of things. I, for one, am allergic to my kitchen area. You heard it right! Every time I step into my kitchen, I started to sneeze, non-stop! (And no, it is not dirty!
