Do you skip breakfast?

Many people who get up early and have to commute to work will have a cup of coffee and skip breakfast. I can't say this is a healthy way to start your day but there are increasing numbers of people who skip breakfast before their day begins and end up grabbing a bite from either a vending machine or a fast food take out on the way to work. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and that it speeds up your metabolism and helps burn more calories and prevents mental and physical fatigue thus making work performance better.

I never eat breakfast.

I grab a bite on the way to work each morning.

I prepare food the day before I go to work and carry a bag lunch with me and eat an apple or banana at work for brunch.

I always get up extra early and have a breakfast of oatmeal with rasins and hazle nut creamer and 2 boiled eggs.

I have an energy bar and keep many in the food closet and take them on the go.

I can't vote in the poll because I am a sometimes yes, sometimes no person. If I am going out to townor to exercise,no breakfast. It weighs me down. If I have breakfast it may be tinned tuna and mayo, or scrambled eggs. It will be low carb, if possible.

I could not vote, because there was not an option for an all of the above or anything like that. I am very sporadic when it comes to the practices that I use for breakfast in the morning.

So if there had been an option to choose 'all of the above' you would have chosen that. Okay. I will have to keep that in mind for future polls. As for sporadic eating habits I too would fall into this category. Different days different ways.

I'm not really a breakfast person. I may have a very small something to eat, but it doesn't quite qualify as breakfast. For the most part I go without.

I think we need to allow ourselves time for breakfast but focus on more nutritional types of food and drink to start the day off right. Many people either just skip it altogether or eat the same old thing every morning, eggs and toast and juice or cold cereal or oatmeal day in day out. It get's old after all.
