At how many sites, and what type of sites, do you write?

We all have different reasons for writing. For some, it is about writing itself. For others, it is about the money earned. For yet others, it is a combination of the two. And then, there are those who do so for the social aspect of sites like this. As many people as there are on the Internet, there are probably that many people with different ideas. As some sites come and go, many will say to diversify and write at several sites, chasing the money. Others use sites for specific styles of writing, and much more. I am not concerned about where you write, how much they pay, or any other factor other than the number or types of sites (outside of Facebook or Twitter) where you write, as "a writer." Please let us know !

I only write here at Persona Paper.

As of this moment, I write here and on my blog at Wordpress. I am a "member" of other sites, Bubblews, Tsu, and another, but I haven't written/visited for many months.

I do have some articles at Hubpages but I haven't written a new article there for quite some time, a couple of years, maybe. PP is the only place I write at present, although I have several webpages on which I should be writing!

Once upon a time I balanced Associated Content and Helium then AC went down. I prefer to deal with one writing site at a time and PP is it for the time being.

Apart from here I write at two other main places. One of them is a geograph site and the other is Google Blogger where I have had an account with a couple of blogs on it for quite a while but haven't really been active on. However, I intend to be much more active there from now on.

I write at two other sites, news sites, regularly in the last two weeks. I write occasionally for another site that allows the usual types of articles. Persona Paper is home base for me as this is where I feel the most comfortable and so enjoy the community here.

I am always looking for ways online to make money

I socialize here and at Bubblews. I write for pay at Zemandi. That is plenty for me.

CoralLevang wrote on November 9, 2015, 4:35 PM

I miss AC a lot. It is where I cut my eye teeth.

I write here and at Examiner. I just started at myLot the day before yesterday. I haven't been there long enough to say anything definitive, but I rather like it.

I've chosen the number of sites I'm active at. Otherwise, It woud be a few more if you include those where I currently have membership but don't, can't or haven't time to write.

I write at three other sites, though one of them I visit so rarely I'm not sure I should have counted it, and another- not PP - hits me with a full page popup add every time I try to go to it now so I have not written there in a while.

JohnRoberts wrote on November 9, 2015, 8:18 PM

I am afraid we will never see the likes of AC again. I was so into writing there and you just never knew what would take off view wise.

I have three which actually hard to manage.

markgraham wrote on November 9, 2015, 10:28 PM

I mainly write for PP but I also write on wikinut and my teaching assistant site.

Paulie wrote on November 9, 2015, 11:42 PM

In addition to Persona Paper, I have been writing on Persona Paper for the past four plus years.

CoralLevang wrote on November 9, 2015, 11:55 PM

I am confused by this answer.

Paulie wrote on November 10, 2015, 12:52 AM

What I was trying to say is that I have been writing on Hubpages for more than four years.

Well, I write mostly on MyLot, here and on Bubblews. I also write on a site called BlogJob. But I am not that active there. I am waiting on my favorite new social network to put up their new blogging platform. When that happens there, I feel that I will be spending more time on MyLot and that new social site. Time will tell all things.

alexdg1 wrote on November 11, 2015, 3:47 PM

I write (more or less) here and at Examiner. Examiner can afford to pay me more than PP can, so I am writing there as often as I can.

CoralLevang wrote on November 11, 2015, 3:57 PM

I did not pay as much attention to the views, as I did to those who were targeting me to write for them. I received several jobs paying me $15 to $25 to write. I never knew what happened to them, where they went or how they were edited.

CoralLevang wrote on November 11, 2015, 3:58 PM

New social network? Where is that? I don't think I have heard about it.

CoralLevang wrote on November 11, 2015, 3:59 PM

I need to check in with Examiner. I still am there, but it's been a long time since I've written.

I tried to post there last night, but it limits me to the Job or Career articles.
I think things are different there, so I need to contact them to find out.

inertia4 wrote on November 12, 2015, 7:06 AM

Well, I can't post the referral link here. But I can say the site starts with a Q. They are also going to implement a blogging platform there also. And members can make money just by posting like you would normally do on Facebook or Google.

CoralLevang wrote on November 12, 2015, 10:32 AM

I understand that you cannot post the referral link, but why can you not tell the name of the site other than "...starts with a Q"? You didn't call the others "the site starts with an/a F/G"! ROFL

inertia4 wrote on November 12, 2015, 10:53 AM

Okay. Well, the sites name is Qkadoo. I have been going there everyday. I hardly ever use Facebook anyway. So I figure I would go there and earn some money.
