Should MTV Go Back to Playing only Music Videos 24/7?

News media has reported that the viewership for the 2015 MTV Music Awards has been on a steady decline. Many cable viewers admitted that their loss of interest is mostly due to the constant airing of reality TV programs, along with the change in popular has changed their views on the once-popular music channel. Even if they were to offer music-related shows, like shows featuring musicians or game shows that deal with music, this would be a welcome change and possibly bring back audiences.

The poll doesn't have a choice to fit my real answer. I've never been an MTV fan. In fact, I don't think I've ever actually watched a show on the channel in the many years it's been on cable. So, what I need is a poll item that says, "I couldn't care less."

I think they should change their name from "Music Television" if they don't want to play videos anymore. Change it to "RTV" (Reality TV).

I haven't watched MTV or over 10 years. I liked the music videos and that is what MTV should mainly be.

MTV is not that anymore. Not with endless reality shows and scripted shows like Teen Wolf. But this is happening with many networks. Everywhere you go are cheaply produced reality shows that defy imagination anyone would watch.

Yes, they should go back to only showing music videos. Many of the reality shows are over the top and some are boring.
