Do you have a plastic bag somewhere in your house that's full of other plastic bags?

This is hilarious because it is true. I was browsing thru some old Facebook connections and the stuff they had on their timelines when something caught my eye. Someone had posted one of those cartoon type images from "someecards" that showed a vintage type styled woman sitting at a desk in bewilderment and the saying was: "Does anyone else have a plastic bag full of other plastic bags in their house, or is it just me?" You hafta picture...I'm not able to sleep and kind of wandering around the net. I'm the only up and I see this treasure and started to laugh out loud..and not just a little bit. More like the LMAO kind of laugh. And do you know why it was so funny to me? Because it's true! I have an ability to make people laugh. It's mainly based on situational comedy and improvisation as opposed to the stand-up type of comedian. And this is what I do, see the humor in real day life and have fun with my verbal observations. So for those of you who would like to take part of a very unscientific poll, please vote yes or no to the poll question. An a "FYI", mine is hanging on the doorknob of the door that leads to the basement from the kitchen...ON the basement steps side of the door, so naturally they often fall harmlessly down the steps. At least it gives me some exercise if I bother to go down to get them. And like a true example of the definition of insanity, I hang them right back up on that doorknob as if they'll never again fall downstairs.

Yes, we do have a plastic bag of plastic bags, also hanging from a doorknob. We recycle these when the bag gets full. On another, more serious note, my mother used to have hoarder tendencies, and she had bags of bags, boxes of boxes, boxes of bags and more bags of bags. She's since moved from where this happened, and I haven't seen her in four years, so I'm not sure whether the habit has continued...

I have a box full of plastic bags containing other plastic bags.

The reason I have this is because I use the plastic bags for my recycle bin, instead of buying another ones.

yes a lot of them, actually I am thinking how to eliminate them from my room.

Yes we do, I know we don't need to keep that many but I seem to keep every one! We use them for picking up small amounts of trash here and there and also for cleaning out the litter box.

I would like to thank those who left a comment on my little nonsense post. Thank you Madcanman carolyn livingnow mustchoice &Kat We save them in all honesty as a "dog you know what picker upper" on her walks and they are perfect for using as a liner in our small size wastebasket in our bathroom. It's a fine and natural recycling idea...I guess I thought that the ecard was funny. Thx again to all that commented and voted.

Ken, it was indeed a silly post, and quite funny, even though you got some serious comments. I do enjoy some of those ecards, too. We also used to use the bags for scooping the litter box, as well as lining the bathroom trash can. I stopped just short of voting for you to get a life, since this is something that I'd be likely to write!
