Homemade or Store Bought Baby Food?

Do you make homemade baby food or do you buy store bought baby food for your baby? I bought store bought baby food for my son when he started eating solids. We have talked about making homemade baby food for our daughter once she is ready for solids, but I think I see us ending up buying it in the end. If you make baby food at home, do you use a special baby food blender or just your regular average Joe blender? Do you have any tricks? Do you have a bunch of food you end up saving and freezing toe at for another time?

I know we used store bought baby food for both our boys but I seem to remember that as soon as they had a top and bottom tooth that could bite together they were reaching for the ships and salsa and steak and potatoes

I am so looking forward to making my own baby food. I have the neatest grinder that my friend gave me. Pretty much grinds up any food you are eating.

That's awesome. I hope you have a great experience making your own baby food!

Lol. Yeah, our son does not have top and bottom yet. He is GETTING one on top though right now. Our daughter is a ways off from eating solids (she just turned two months).

I made baby food from organic grains and green vegetables. Also my baby ate mashed fruit as well.
