Do you like January?

I always think of January like the month version of Monday, I don't like January it is dark and dismal and I am always poor emoticon  I enjoy April-October I need warm weather, I get a bit down and depressed in the cold dark wintry months. Are you a winter lover or a summer fan? (Or are you lucky enough to live in the warm all year round?) Though if it was to snow I would be very happy, I like snow watching it fall and playing out in it and snuggling up in the warm with a bowl of soup to defrost! Let me know your thoughts in the comments

Winter isn't my favourite time of the year but I look forward to it because of the spectacular effect it has on Scotland's hills - it turns them into a magical winter wonderland for hikers and hillwalkers like me.

February is the month I hate. January usually is not bad, usually snow and sunshine, tho cold. February rolls in and it gets gray and sloppy. Even tho it is only 28 days February can feel like 2 months :P

Winter really isn't my favorite season. I enjoy every other season though.

I much prefer warmer weather but spring is my favourite season of all

I don't particularly like winter, but I like the month of January because it symbolizes a new beginning, a fresh start. I think that's why I like spring so much, too. Everything is renewed and fresh.

January has always been a depressing month, unless you live in the Southern Hemisphere where it would be summer. November and December would be even worse if it was not for Christmas to brighten up the winter to a small extent.

I like spring and autumn the best, January can be depressing some times

This January seems to be dragging on and on and on I can't wait for it to be over

Koalemos wrote on January 16, 2015, 8:46 AM

Sadly it will be followed by February, which is rarely much better.

February isn't so bad we have a week off of school runs (half term) so that will be nice

January always seemed like a very long month when I lived fartger north. One simply to survive!

I figure many people like December because it is generally slower at work and most receive their annual bonuses in this month.

I live in Florida, but it certainly isn't always warm here. I do not like cold weather, I like it to be at least 75 degrees.

I'm not a fan of January, it's such an anticlimax after Christmas
