Have you gotten "cheated" by Bubblews?

I know once they made the changes on New Years Eve, I lost $52 on one of my redemptions. My December redemption remained unchanged by the notice. Many people are no longer writing on bubblews due to feeling like they were not treated fairly by bubblews. I for one have started looked into other means of earning revenue by writing. I think what they did was bad for business. They punished all writers for the actions of bad users/scammers. I feel as if they cheated me out of my earnings. I worked hard for those earnings. I followed their terms of service and they are not honoring their end of the deal. I feel cheated!

Yes I was effected by the changes

I will not say that Bubblews has cheated me, since the old rate is obviously unsustainable, and Bubblews should have reduced the rate long ago.

That site spoiled my New Year with their announcement of redemptions earlier than October 10, 2014.

Yes they have taken $50.53 from me (or rather are not paying it just because I redeemed it in August).

It makes me leary to continue to use the site. I am currently $10 away from redeeming again...and I wonder if they will pay what is owed coming up in 10 days..

A promise is a promise. Bubblews did cheat us. But their not paying legitimate users because of spammers may not be true. It is possible they are just keeping the money and inventing that excuse. Spammers were kicked out some time back. It reminds me of when governmental rulers used to blame the Jews for their own inadequacies.

I'm only continuing as I'm on $29 and I'm not giving them that too. Only problem is, none of my posts are showing up so only getting a couple of views on each so it's going to take forever to reach $50

i am awaiting my redemption to see the difference, but i think I'm done with that site.

I think everyone was affected in some way. Even those that got all of their payments prior to November still had the already redeemed money in late November or December was cut significantly. So, if you thought you were getting $80 for example, you are probably getting only half or less.

Yep! My outstanding redemption made on 18th November reduced from $72 to $31.

I personally didn't lose any money with their new changes, but I closed my account yesterday as I feel it is horrible of them to rip off so many good honest members. I will not support a site like that. I have no problem with the decrease in pay, as I agree with scheng1 that the original pay per like was too much, but I cannot abide not paying people that are owed.

By now , you should know that Bubblews is dead and no longer in existence. It is sad because it had great potential. It is too bad it was run by people who didn't know what they were doing.
