Acceptable Use Policy

The ability to write about any topic is a fundamental right that we enjoy in the United States. As such, we do encourage our members to write about a variety of topics. We also encourage a productive dialog between people with differing opinions.

However, in order to maintain a certain level of community standard we are placing some restrictions on the type of content that is allowed to be posted here. Any content found to be in violation of any of the rules below will result in immediate removal of the content. This could also result in account deletion, depending on the severity or frequency of the infraction.

Please note that we reseve the right to modify or delete any content which violates any of these rules.

Content Restrictions

Please do not post anything (text or image) that falls under any of these categories:

• Sexually explicit or pornographic material
• Linking to or otherwise describing how to obtain any illegal content (according to US law). This includes, but not limited to:
  • Torrents.
  • Any drug listed as a controlled substance.
  • Child pornography.
• Linking to or otherwise describing how to perform any illegal activity (according to US law). This includes, but not limited to:
  • Attempting to steal any data or information that you do not directly have a right too.
  • Attempting to circumvent any lawful use of access restriction.
  • Any unauthorized use or access of any resource.
• Posting SPAM or affiliate links. We have a low tolerance policy for spam and it will be dealt with immediately. This includes, but not limited to:
  • Posting any comment on an article that is too short and/or does not apply to the article. Some examples might include:
    • Nice post
    • Thanks for sharing

    These comments do not provide any additional value to the conversation and is not the type of content the advertisers wish to pay for.

    Instead of posting this in the comment section, simply liking the article sends the same message and does not contribute to the spam in our community.

  • Posting non-sense content in multiple categories
  • Posting multiple articles in a short timeframe (we currently recommend a minimum of 10 minutes)
  • Posting more than 15 articles per day
• Any material that is obscene, offensive, defamatory, threatening or harassing. This includes, but not limited to:
  • Racism.
  • Hate Speech.
  • Factually inaccurate accusations.
  • Graphic depictions or descriptions of violence.
  • Profanity
• Any material that infringes on another's copyright, trademark, intellectual property or privacy.
• Any material that has been posted elsewhere on the internet, unless that content has been removed and you still retain the rights to it.

Behavior Restrictions

In addition to the restrictions on content, we also expect a certain level of respect and baseline behavior from our members to keep everyone as comfortable as possible. As such, below are a few examples of some restrictions we will not tolerate and take immediate action to remedy if necessary.

• Usage of any language, in any medium on the site that is offensive, obscene or racist/sexist
• Stalking and/or harassing of any member who has requested that you leave them alone.
• Attempting to threaten or otherwise portray the intention of harm or discomfort to any other member directly.
• Any attempt to abuse the like/view/comment system. This includes the use of VPNs, proxies or any other technology used to mask your IP. Note that you can use these technologies in a legitimate manner to access our site, but if we suspect abuse (at our sole discretion) we will take action.
