Goodbye Woofles Syrup Delaney - I Will Love You and Miss You Forever

Yesterday, my little mutt (he looked like a chihuahua and Manchester terrier cross, but he had call kinds of things in him in addition to those things - Australian Shepherd, Rat Terrier, Shih Tzu, Vizsla, Puli, and Saint Bernard - so said Wisdom Panel) passed away.

From his estimated birthday, he only would've been seven later this month. In retrospect, I can see that he was saying goodbye. However, it is so hard to deal with saying goodbye to him. It's obvious that I have to deal with the reality of it, but it's not easy. He was younger than his big brother, Niblet Corndog Delaney.

He loved to cuddle and in general, he was such a happy little dog. He died while he was riding in my sister's bike basket - or maybe just as I got to say goodbye to him. It wasn't hot outside, so I know he didn't have heat stroke. It had rained, so the weather was much cooler than usual. He was coughing at night, but it always just sounded like he was choking, so I'd rub his throat. He'd be fine after that. He would wake up next to me and not have any problems, so it didn't seem like he was sick. However, maybe keeping him alive was too much for his little heart.

I'm not sure if this will work, but you can watch This video of him or this video of him .

Then, here are some of his pictures:

His cute little face.

One of his favorite chairs. In Briana's bike basket along with Niblet.

I feel for you. I'm old enough to have gone through eight dogs. I wish they lived longer.

I wish they lived longer, too. Owning a dog for about six and a half years just isn't long enough.
