Chatabout Changes :(

I have been using Chatabout for maybe four months now. I have always thought it was a cool site to earn very minimal amounts of cash or a gift certificate. I actually found out about the changes from another writing site. From there I went to see if it was true and low and behold it is! We now have to work double hard to win our meager points!

I mean before we could get $5.00 with just 500 points, but now they raised that 500 to 1000! Plus, some people are ticked off because they never even gave us a warning email or something to that effect. I'm not so sure I will be able to stay with it like I was. I'm not going to be their robot and post more there just so I can get a measly $5.00. That's insane. They should make it easier now to get more points. Lots of the surveys there I'm never qualified for and I mostly just get a penny per survey otherwise. Why does everything have to get harder to accomplish? This is getting ridiculous.

Exactly, it was hard enough as is. Ugh, I think I'll still be on the site though, just a little bit upset with the new changes. A notice would have been nice :/

Pay per click advertising money is drying up.

I wonder why that is, sometimes people need it to help their incomes. I got bored with those pay per click sites right away but this site was different. Notice I said was. I just don't know how much I can use it after I finally reach 100o points now. Not worth it anymore after that. I'm only up to about 350 right now.

farmer123 I never heard of Chatabout before, but I agree making changes especially in detriment of the user should be announced well in advance.

do they allow members who are not from US, Canada,UK and Australia? That site banned me before but I notice my account is restored.
