Stirring Things Up

Well I wrote earlier about this site and it seemed to upset a lot of people. Some of them didn't understand what I meant either but that is alright. I think this site will probably one day be a good one. It is just taking them time to get started. I didn't mean I hated the site or anything. It's just the post was lost and now I am to blame for that because the cache button done nothing after the captcha said try again. That's alright as well. I may continue to write on here but not as much as I planned. Instead of them informing of things in a way that would help they only tried to tell me that I should re-read the faq and things. That has nothing to do with the captcha messing up. However I knew it wouldn't go too far to being explained or helping with the problem. So we all can enjoy writing on here and have a good time I hope. However you should write your post somewhere besides directly on the site to ensure it will not disappear. Sorry to upset everyone writing on here. If they don't throw me off for writing this post then I'll continue to help them grow. I can only write how I feel as the rest of you do. I hope you have a great time on this site. Have a great day. Thanks.

I'm sorry the Restore Cache thing didn't work. I've had to use it a few times and it's been a life saver because I forgot to make a copy of my post beforehand. I still don't always make a copy, but that's because what I'm writing can easily be rewritten. I always make a copy with long stuff like my stories though. Just in case. No idea about the captcha messing up. I haven't had any problems with the new ones. I sometimes can't read the regular ole kind though and have problems.

That Capcha thingy is a pain in the a** has only worked about twice for me first time...I write somewhere else and then copy and paste....I don't think anyone it upset so forget about it...

Always, but Always use a copy and paste method. When you are happy with your post Save it as a copy. Refresh the capture thingy before posting. Then paste and post your copy.
Really, a few moments spent will reward your PP life.

I write my post directly here and the Restore Cache works for me well. There can be slips and that could have happened to you. Nothing is going to change my mind about this site being anything but great. :)

Occasionally, I've had to hit the button twice. So, okay, I'm betting you'll be fine here and you'll end up another fan of the admin here, before you know it.

I suspect you'll discover that if you ask for help rather than blaming and passing judgement, you'll find you get a lot more sympathy. And of course, a lot more help.

You never mentioned using the restore cache button, so I don't know why you'd expect people to "understand" that. As for not saying you hated the site, no you didn't. You said, " This site stinks," and, "Not a good business."

"Instead of them informing of things in a way that would help they only tried to tell me that I should re-read the faq and things."
Both the administrators took the time to respond to your complaints, and Will directed you to the section of the FAQ that deals with restoring the cache. If you had opened a new tab and used the contact button without writing a new post, Will could have explained how to restore your cache. But when you write a new post and publish it, that new content gets saved over your lost post. I'm not a programmer, so I don't know if Will could have fixed it anyway.

But by that point you were saying, "I will be going back to bubblews to write where I can really write as I please and they do not lose my hard work." I suspect Will read that as your farewell to the site. It sounded pretty final, after all.
