Keep Your Peels To Yourself

Fruit peels are said to have benefits for one's health and beauty. Take for instance a banana peel. I eat a lot of bananas so I should try this. It is for a remedy for headaches. The only thing is I don't feel like eating a banana when I have a headache so someone else will have to do that part of the task.

Not only is it good for teeth whitening but if you put the peel on your forehead if you have a headache it is supposed to relieve the headache. I have not tried it yet, so I wouldn't know how long it takes. I am just not sure if it works. Has anyone ever heard of it or tried it? The inside peel works for teeth when you rub it on your teeth. The headache idea is when you peel the banana the entire length of the banana and place it on your forehead with the inside down across the width of your forehead. Otherwise it would be awkward I assume.

Then there are apple peels. Take the inside of one of those peels with pectin in it and rub it on your clean face. It is supposed to have lots of vitamins in the peel so it would moisturize your face naturally. Orange juice does this for nails.

That is what I always say. Why did my mother not teach me to eat peels :)

Farmer123 Thanks for the tips, I didn't know these benefits from the peels. Will need to try them one day.

I've never heard of these particular remedies, but my mother used to say rubbing the inside of an orange peel against our skin would keep mosquitoes away. I figure maybe it's supposed to be some sort of citronella connection, but it never worked for me :(

I have not tried this yet but it seems the peels are good for many things. It doesn't hurt to try them all right?
