I Am New To Persona
Well, I am going to try this again as the first one came up as an error and I lost it all. I hope this one comes through okay. Since I am new to Persona, I thought I would write just a little bit about me.
I recently moved back from Las Vegas, Nevada to Memphis, Tennessee. I am disabled and moved to Vegas to live with my brother. I lived there for 4 years. When I first moved there, I loved it but after about 2 years, my brother and I were both ready to come back home. We moved to Tennessee around the first of June of this year.
I have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. My son is a preacher and has 4 children. My daughter does ministry work in India and she has 2 children. I am so very proud of them all! When I was in Vegas, I missed my family so much and now that I am back home, were are all so happy again!
I have 2 dogs. One is a Peekapoo, her name is Cricket and she is 14 years old. She is starting to show her age and I just pray that she is around for a while longer. I have had her since she was 6 weeks old. My other dog is a Dachshund, her name is Bella and she is 6 years old. I got her when she was just a little over a year old. She had been abused and came with a few issues. Most of them we have been able to resolve with patience and love. Bella came to me when I was in a really dark place in my life and we bonded right away. She will probably be the one that I write about the most as she is always doing something or into something.
I guess that is it for now. I am so happy to be a part of Persona and I look forward to meeting everyone here.

Good, yea it's not to difficult, I mean I figured it out, mostly :) so can't be to hard. Like everything new just takes a little time to figure it all out.

I briefly considered moving to Vegas. I live in Ohio but I have family out west. My brother lives in Arizona and I have an aunt and some cousins in SoCal. Was it the city you didn't like or just being away from your family in Tennessee?

Oh, my sister had a cockapoo named Cricket when I was a little kid! She got her name because she would jump very high, straight up, so she could see through the window in the back door. Just like she was on a spring, lol. Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, and welcome to the community!

That is similar to how my Cricket got her name. She was no bigger than my hand and whenever I took her outside, the grass was so high on her that she had to hop, not walk. That is how I came up with Cricket.

It was mainly the city, although I did miss my family. A lot of people in Vegas are only after what they can get and very few are loyal. This pertains to people who migrated to Vegas. People who are born and raised there are completely different.

I was able to post right away. I went to the top right where it has my user name and clicked on it. A box will open and give you options and the first one is to submit a post. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

That would be a different experience for me. I'm from Cincinnati and if you live here and don't work for P&G , you were born and raised here. If someone in Cincinnati asks you where you went to school, no matter how old you are, you know they are talking about high school.

Well this is my first comment first day here too. We have a lot in common I have a new puppy named Rosie and my hubby and I have recently sold our family home and moved here to a lake and golfing community.
