Photo Challenge | Supper At Home With Treasured Friends is Always Special
I spend at least a couple of months a year living in Vancouver. I get to do this not because I'm independently wealthy but because I have good friends that let me house sit while they're away in the summer.
For the last several years, we've had a great arrangement. Every summer I come home to visit my folks and they schedule their holidays at the same time. I then take care of their garden, cut the grass and look after their mail.
They just got back yesterday along with my friend's sister who's also a great cook. She made us this fabulous West Coast soup with fresh mussels and prawns from Granville Island.
It's special just to get together, drink wine and have a nice low key supper because normally we're all at opposite ends of the country.
What made things even more special to mark the occasion, as we were sitting there enjoying ourselves, a halo appeared above my head, a reflection of the wine glasses from the sun beaming through the window.
Then after we scrambled to take pictures, when I sat down again, all of a sudden I had four haloes above my head.
I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to test out the new photo gallery on Persona Paper.
