Why do we need to Meditate---Anger, Depression and Anxiety are the Negative Elements that we must overcome

Other words related to Meditate which are closely related to my article: To ponder, to visualize, to contemplate, to think over, to reflect or to self examine. In Wikipedia dictionary Meditation is to try to get past the "thinking" mind, and into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Mostly religions now a day used this term as part of their spiritual resting or mind recovering, as well as the yoga, and prayers. Our life is full of complexities and difficulties, that’s why many of our researchers and professionals are looking for the best possible solutions to overcome and combat these stress of life. Anger will lead you to troubles and fights, Depressions is a certain mood disorder that makes you feel lowly especially low in your self-esteem. Anxiety will make you fell restlessness, terror and often lead you to become fearful in everything. These major physiological problems are unavoidable and uncontrollable that hinders our life to move forward. In my own experiences, I just let myself release these emotional dilemmas through meditation; I just let myself alone in my room, examining myself, my life and all the problems that I need to let go. Honestly as a Christian, I commune to God through prayers , songs and spirit talking. That’s the way I meditate, sometimes I read a passage in the Bible and I will talk to God and let myself free from the worries of this world. Meditating with your own way will help you to reduce these bad elements that conquering your mind, body and soul. Remember, that this life is free and the best things that we ever do are to make our self free from the torment of this world and turn it out into a blessing.

ella-romao Even though I think we need to keep a realistic as opposed to optimistic view in our lifes, I agree with you, meditation helps us control negative factors that don't contribute to our well being.

earning money is different from knowing something, we are not all prof here, to know all things in life, what I've experienced I share, some people will disagree some are not, you see, the focus of earnings is so much far different with the topic I knew...this topic comes from my own experiences, and personal opinions are welcome...bear with me, but elaborate the phrase "Sometimes, what you don't know can hurt other.........???? yes, actually sometimes, in life we need our mind to rest from all our countless problems,etc, and meditation really help to release the negative energy of our mind and body.

yes, nbaquero I believe that meditation can help us to control all these negative elements, If I'm so upset with my children, I just go to my room and check and balance every situation, Meditation help us to relax our mood and to slow down our anger.

That is great, being able to handle the situation is a great benefit derived from meditation. I have to admit I don't meditate as much as I have to, but I do recognize I need to be more proactive on that aspect.

It's ok SPB100 some people are not fond meditating, it's alright if you try, just let go all the worries and concentrate deeply on positive and joyful things, little by little, you will use to it...you'll see, but pls. don't force yourself if you don't want to. emoticon :smile:

I find by having things around me quiet and calm I am able to go about my day with a brighter outlook and calmness. I also find cooking and baking to be my muse for inspiration.

Hi! tinamarie that's one thing to divert all the worries in life, if you're happy doing something that will interest, cooking, baking or going out with friends, take time to visit your parents or family are great things to do to subside all the negative feelings that we encounter.

You know dear gancelzmae I agree with you, that meditation is important especially if we are exhausted from the things of this world, there's no such wonderful feeling than to free our soul from the prison of this world.
