Introduction for KernowMaid
Kernow is the old Cornish word for Cornwall, the county in the far south-west of England where I live. Cornwall is best known worldwide as the home of the characters Captain Ross Poldark and Demelza; brought to fame in the renowned 1970s television series and currently being remade.
I am lucky enough to live and work on a holiday (vacation) park in this, the most beautiful corner of the UK. Every Monday and Friday I inspect the caravan homes on the park to ensure they are clean and equipped for the new batch of residents.
With the exception of the two days that I work on the park, I spend the majority of my time writing for various blogs and websites online. In my spare time I love to take photographs of the wonderful scenery in this part of the country. Photography is my main hobby although I also like to take long walks with my partner along the coast path, as well as cook when time allows. On these warm evenings we tend to just throw whatever fish is the catch of the day onto the barbecue and eat it with plenty of salad and my favorite drink of local cider.

Welcome to PP.
Might we be seeing a few of your photographs in future days?
I could take issue with Cornwall being the most beautiful county... But I won't, being a lover of the place and with a short break in the county on the horizon it would be churlish.
