Persona Paper Tweaks

Good day to all the PPers out there!

Hopefully, everyone is well. Back here in Manila, we are starting to feel the effects of . Wrote about my experience awhile back ( link is here, http://personapaper.com/article/8351-goodbye-typhoon-glenda-hello-typhoon-henry ).

Anyway after writing my first post after a writing hiatus (link here, http://personapaper.com/article/8257-first-post-in-awhile ), I went ahead and reviewed my previous posts. I did some . Not major ones really. I went ahead and updated my posts to have a justified margin. It annoys me to no end to see sentences not aligned. Is that normal or am I being obsessive-compulsive? Also, I went ahead and placed my referral link in all my posts. I do share my posts on so it only makes sense that I pimp myself out there in social media. I'll be doing both, justified margins and putting my Persona Paper referral link, in all my posts moving forward.

Also, I saw that posts already shared in doesn't have the Twitter icon updated in the post. Instead of seeing 1, which connotes that the post has been shared once in Twitter, it is showing zero. Perhaps it is a glitch that MaeLou and the other admins can check.

Well, that's about it.

Do you have any tweaks that you'd be doing here in Persona Paper? Feel free to share.

allen0187 I would check with Admin about putting your referral link in your posts. I had e-mailed them about that and they told me to hold of doing it at this point. so, before you tweak them all and add that referral link, ask them first. That is the right way to do it.

We're not allowed to put any referral links, including persona paper

LoudMan wrote on July 21, 2014, 10:29 PM

I'm still hoping for a block feature, if it's at all possible.

LoudMan wrote on July 21, 2014, 10:30 PM

inertia4 is right. MaeLou straightened me out on it, too.

My dear, the admins don't want us posting any affiliate links in our articles, , even the one for Persona Paper. MaeLou wrote a post about it. To answer your question though, I do tend to make a few tweaks here and there to improve the SEO on my articles, sometimes. I like how easy it is to edit things here!

Yeah, no referral links as of right now, even for our own site.
That said, as far as the "tweet" button and stuff goes, it might have something to do with the remodel of the posts? I'm not really sure. It's an elitecodex type of question.

Regretfully I have limited control over the tweeting number as that comes directly from Twitter (the button and the number). I would check both "personapaper.com" and "www.personapaper.com" as it may be seeing those are two different domains. If you tweeted one and not the other, it may only pick up one. Just a thought though.

Ok, thanks for the reply elitecodex ! I appreciate the immediate response. Hopefully, this will be sorted out as I don't want to be sharing the same article more than once in the same social media site.

MaeLou , seriously? Oh man!!! LOL! Just when I was done with all my posts! LOL!

No worries, I'll remove the referral links. How about sharing the referral links in Twitter in random tweets, is that allowed? Appreciate the reply. Thanks in advance.

inertia4 , gidget , LoudMan , and AliCanary , thanks for the response. I'll be editing my posts then. This is one thing that I like about the site, the quick response time of both the site admins and the other members to give a heads up to members who erred. We don't get to see that kind of camaraderie in other sites.

allen0187 wrote on July 22, 2014, 6:32 PM

LoudMan , why would you want a 'block' feature? I'm assuming this is for members whom you do not want to deal with. Won't 'unfollowing' them suffice? Just curious.

inertia4 wrote on July 22, 2014, 6:47 PM

allen0187 You're welcome. You're right, the quick response we get here is second to none.

LoudMan wrote on July 22, 2014, 6:52 PM

Excellent question. There are just some folks I find to be toxic. I won't say any names but there are some folks I just don't welcome into my life. :)

LoudMan wrote on July 22, 2014, 6:55 PM

Glad to give you the heads-up. I'm sure you'd do the same for someone else, too.

allen0187 wrote on July 22, 2014, 7:04 PM

inertia4 and LoudMan ... cheers!

LoudMan , oh you bet I would!!!

allen0187 wrote on July 22, 2014, 7:06 PM

LoudMan , understood man! I stay away from people who have too much drama in their lives and feel the need to share it online. Won't have none of that sh!t. LOL!

No problem--hope you didn't feel we piled on too much!
