Contact lenses or Glasses
I have an opticians appointment next week to have my eyes tested, not that I feel I need to but simply because it has been about 5 year since I last had them checked - and the Mrs is doing her job very well at nagging prompting me to get them tested.
I wear glasses, and have done since I was a small lad but occasionally I drift from wearing glasses to wearing contact lenses. I normally make this change when I see a promotion in the opticians of 1 weeks free trial of contact lenses, and then I go to as many opticians who are offering this promotion and stock up on as many pairs as I can - you have to love a freebie and if it catches your eye, go for it. These were particularly useful for PT sessions and impromptu rugby games when I was in the Army.
Anyway, I am now looking into the option of wearing contact lenses permanently and I am weighing up the costings of daily disposable lenses over monthly lenses, and it looks as though I may well be tempted to wear monthly lenses.
If your eyes need corrections at all, which do you prefer - glasses or contact lenses?
