Skye McCole Bartusiak died today from unknown causes as of yet. Skye starred as Mel Gibson's daughter in the 2000 hit movie the Patriot. Her mother, Helen said she had been recently suffering from epileptic seizures; it is suspected she died of a seizure and choked. She was found in her home in Houston, Texas. Skye also starred in the movie Cider House Rules and Don't Say a Word starring Michael Douglas; she was in the process of directing her first film ever. Skye was found by her boyfriend who is not suspected of foul play as of this time. Skye McCole Bartusiak was only 21 years old when she died today.
