For Those Who Love Pondering Great Thoughts...

I tend to go on binges researching things. I gather my research from every source imaginable. The ONE place I've avoided, however, is Twitter.

I just don't get the place. I tweet, but I tweet against my will...for work purposes.

Last night I had a massive bout of insomnia, so I went trolling those dark places for great bits of information. The search led me to Twitter.

I saw one of the funniest quotes I’ve seen in a long time. I have no idea if this is an original quote, but it’s one I’ve ever read.

It's one of those ironic things that's funny mainly because it’s true.

The Tweeter (or is that Twitterer?) wrote: “It’s true that you may only live once…but you only die once as well.”

Keep that in mind the next time you try to stick a pair of scissors into an electrical outlet “just to see what will happen.” That’s right…you…you know who you are.

Oh the bouts of insomnia, how you bring out the true nature of the dark thoughts lurking in the creases of the mind. Aha, this post made me laugh! It is so very true that we only live once, so have fun and take risks, but be moderate about this risks as death is a one time event as well. Love it!

I'm not so sure we only live and die once, anymore. In fact, our lives might actually be like a critter which just bobs back u on the surface of a lake, then goes back under, then back up, and so on. "Death" might just be an illusion.

I am visualizing you chained to a char and tweeting ;)

I like the visual gidget mentions. I have never heard that saying, but have had that thought before.

I left Twitter.

Sometimes, though, I consider going back. But, I'd need an entirely different username.
