Republicans Say the Stupidest Things Part 2: Louie Gohmert Goes to War

In the second installment of "Republicans Say the Stupidest Things" I'm referring still to Louie Gohmert.

July 14, 2014: Referring to the recent influx of unaccompanied minors from south of the border, "...the state of Texas would appear to have the right, not only to use whatever means, whether it’s troops, even using ships of war, even exacting a tax on interstate commerce that wouldn't normally be allowed to have or utilize, they’d be entitled in order to pay to stop the invasion.”

So he advocates that Texas should shoot children under the guise of "protecting the borders and illegally tax interstate commerce to pay for it? I think not! Unless, of course Texas plans to secede an go to war with both the U.S. and Mexico.
