Flight cancelled

Well what do you know? Just when you need to leave for an important business matter, the storm comes in and messes up your schedule. Yeah. Flight has been cancelled due to force majeure. Of course when nature puts down her foot, there's no way of ever stopping her. So, that's not really something I can control anyway. I am more disappointed with the airline. I called them up to have my flight moved to the earliest possible schedule. Everything has been going well except when they saw that I checked in via web. I won't be able to get a new schedule for my new flight just yet because I have to be "de-boarded" before everything else - which is crazy bec the flight has already been cancelled. I am to be de-boarded from a plane that I have never even boarded in the first place. Isn't it ironic?

That sounds crazy. Last time my flight got delayed by weather my connection still left and I got stuck in Atlanta for 24hrs. Stuck in the terminal for the night I felt like Tom Hanks in the movie of the same name. You wouldn't believe how cold, noisy and bright it was during the night, almost impossible to sleep.

This sounds like one of those "technology driven backward" airlines. It is raining hard here in South Luzon and I bet the weather is going to get ugly as night falls. I pray for other people to be safe under the storm's path. Be safe. I hope they can re-schedule on the next available flight goddess888
