I once had a friend (a Quebecoise) who preferred her coffee with evaporated milk in it. I didn't realize until years later that this is a common thing in some parts of Asia

Hello and welcome. I love how one of the ways we earn here is by placing comments on the posts of others. Where else do you get rewarded for welcoming noobs? :)Remember to invite your friends. We can always use another artist. The great thing about online writing is everything is a potential topic. Two posts a day from each and all of us would have this business humming and us all earning! :)

I'm happy to meet you. I'd welcome you, but you got here first. I hope you're enjoying the site as much as I am.
Your father is fortunate to have a well-qualified daughter to nurse him. I would make a lousy nurse. I did my best when my Mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer, but I was sure glad hospice was around to help me with the medical stuff. Toward the end I had to hire 24-hour care, but they were not nurses either. I hope you will find this experience brings you closer to your father when he most needs that. Those last weeks with my mom were precious to both of us.

Welcome. Glad you joined. Looking forward to reading your posts. Sorry to hear about your dad; but he is fortunate to have a nurse in the family.
