One New Thing at Bubblews, I don't Know When it First Showed up

There is at least one new thing at Bubblews that may have been there for a while now, I don't really know when it first showed up. That is the archive section. It appears that all our articles are now available in the archive listing whereas before only a percentage stayed visible while the rest of them were compressed to save room on the site.

So the site is still processing quicker, when it is working and our archives are all visible. That is something that we all have wished for from the beginning. Whether it's that way for everyone all around the site or not - I don't know, so if you haven't checked that out for yourself lately it would be one thing to do in the near future.

=================

I checked out a few things and then tried to leave a comment on a post, but then I got the error screen and now I don't know whether my comment even went through or not. Right after the error screen I got the site under maintenance page, so I don't know whether the site will be down today again or not, or whether it was just a momentary situation.

It went down for me too, and wasn't working very well while I was there. Meanwhile, I'm still not approved to post here!

That's a cool discovery.

It has been down for me all day today and yesterday to. Maybe they will get it fixed soon.

Right now Bubblews seems to be undergoing a 'transition' of sorts. It's been a weird couple of days and I suspect it will be a weird next couple of days. As for the archives, I was under the impression that it listed all of the articles we've written in the past. But I could be wrong on that.

I noticed that last week, but I have no idea when the change took place. Today I was able to sign in by pushing the F5 button after getting the Site in Maintenance screen. Once in everything worked, I even published a new post. But after every action it was necessary to refresh for the action to stick / be seen and maintained. I decided it was not safe to work there and signed out. Later when I tried to get in again, the F5 trick did not work.

I never had looked in the archive section. whenever I wanted to locate my old article, I use to Google search and get that particular article. But I think they should be covering all the aspects in this transition period.

No, Porwest it only ever showed a portion of the posts that we ever wrote in the archive section. I don't know whether anyone ever figured out the percentage, but I think it was always less than half of what we'd written.

Now if you ever followed the down arrows on your profile page, then you could have seen each and every post, but you could only see five of them at a time. Now, both ways work.

Well I never would have thought of trying that Javaman, but when i just did it, it didn't work for me either.

I agree, Adrienne and it's something I didn't really expect to change with the site updates, so it's nice they decided to do something about that. I hope that stays once it's all finished.
