Eng Vs Ind 1st Test

The on going 1st test between England and India has become very interesting with the last wicket partnership of 111 by the tail end batsman M.Shami and B. Kumar each of them scoring their maiden test half centuries.

Having won the toss India opted to bat first on a lively Lords ground. M. Vijay batted well and went onto score his first century on a foreign soil, he was very well supported by Pujara , Rahane and Dhoni. At the end of day 1 India were in a good position.

Day 2 India lost some quick wickets after lunch they were 346 for the loss of 9 wickets. It was the last pair of Kumar and Shami added 111 runs and frustrated the English bowlers.India were bowled out for 457 in their 1st innings.

When England came into bat , they lost their captain Cook for 5 with only 9 runs on the board. At the end of the day Eng are 43 for the loss of 1 wicket.

The analyst predict the ball will swing on day 3 and it is going to be a tough time for the English batsman.
