I Felt So Dirty, Google AdSense...

I Felt So Dirty, Google AdSense...

I felt so dirty. And it was such a load of crud. I hadn’t done anything wrong. If you go back to where I shared their cancellation letter, they C L E A R L Y state that I “poses a risk...”

POSES a RISK!

Not BROKE the rule. NOT HAD invalid click activity. Not caused any problems already.

You “poses” a risk.

So we’ll cancel you now. Just in case.

Because we are GOOGLE ADSENSE.

Muhahahahahahahaha.

HA.

Pfft.

My apologies. But I gave you fair warning about the rambling and randomness, early on. There’s your reminder!

emoticon

Because smileys make everything better.

So yep. After Google AdSense replied to me that they had taken extra special care with reviewing my account but still considered me a big fat liar and cheater who didn’t deserve to reside among the elite (who I’ve seen lie and cheat...ugh...I’m NOT a tattler but...UGH, ANYway ...more on that later because I do have something to say about it, seriously!)...

...I replied to them with this:

"Hello Google AdSense Team,

Thank you for taking the time to review my account and have your specialists confirm that you are unable to reinstate my account. If you missed the sarcasm of the previous statement, please know I meant it sincerely. I have never, in the year+ that I’ve had my AdSense account, done anything to warrant having it taken away. I have worked diligently to maintain quality content at YouTube, Triond, Blogger, and WebAnswers. I do believe this so-called invalid click issue arose because of issue with Triond - though with no valid reason in front of me - and as a result, will no longer be freelancing for them. However, I am not done discussing this disablement and now that the tears have dried, I am rather angry about the whole thing. As I make my way back into work mode, I imagine I’ll be working my way through my anger as well. Stay tuned and have a GREAT day!

Sincerely,
Sandra H...
Former Google AdSense Account Holder"

I never heard from them again.

And rightly so, I suppose. I was kind of a dink in that last communication, truth be told.

But serious-LY.

SandraLynn Well, Google AdSense, as far as I am concerned is full of the almighty S word. I had an account there and I was accused of cheating the system as well. Again, for no good reason. They just don't want to pay anyone. If that's the car, they should just do away with AdSense all together. I wouldn't lose sleep over this, believe me. I appealed my account at least three times. Always the same results. There are other services out there that are dying for people to use.

Oh I know ;) this is just continuing my story :) I've found an alternative and I'm already earning; hence the blog redo inertia4 !!! But back then, 3 years ago, Google was the almighty...not any longer :) Fingers crossed :) They've screwed too many folks, AdSense has.

SandraLynn You got that right, they screwed many people. Well I am glad you found an alternative.

That is just so sad, sorry to hear they haven't given you a decent re-evaluation. It's so hard to contact Google for anything, and I wonder if you got reviewed by someone who got out of bed on the wrong side. I just wish there was a decent alternative that paid well, because none of the other companies seem to.

Those bastards!!! :p

Google was a great company until they became a giant, after that they do what they want, they do not respect people, they do not listen, they became "dictators".

Bummer, just a big bad bummer!

Tony, I found an alternative, actually. :) This is a 3 year old story (well, I am just now telling it). But just last week I stumbled upon an alternative and now I'm busy dusting of an old blog. I haven't even relaunched and I'm already earning :) Time will tell but I imagine this seemingly comparable rev share place came about because so many got screwed by the giant. It's fine and good to be the biggest. Just don't get too cocky. Cocky is ugly on everybody! ;)

awww.. do they have an appeal committee or something like that?

kdarrell wrote on July 10, 2014, 11:59 AM

I signed up for Google Adsense but really didn't do a whole lot with it. Now I'm certainly glad I didn't waste my time. Sorry they put you though this.

Yeah, I posed a risk too, or so they said. My crime was independent thinking, I think. They have a control thing. It is about wanting more marbles than anyone else and being willing to do anything to get them.
