Like Clockwork
Like clockwork ... that's how I like my day to go. Especially, during days off and I have nothing planned. I'd set aside the morning to get my daughter get ready for school. The rest of the morning up until lunch time, I'd use for my business endeavors, online, legal, moral, or otherwise!!!
After a quick lunch, I go watch some tv and read some online news. I browse some sites and check a movie or two. When my daughter comes home from school, it is back to daddy duties. We catch up with what happened to her in school, we do her homework, and then after that, we enjoy more daddy-daughter bonding moments. After dinner, we watch more tv and by 8pm, it is lights out and sleeping time.
Do you like to follow a schedule?

allen0187 Actually I do not follow a schedule, not anymore. I used to. I was always up at the crack of dawn, headed to work and got home late most days. I spent some time at home with my children, but not nearly as much as I would have liked. Then the marriage fell apart. So the time spent with my kids was taken away from me. Am I bitter about that? Yes I am. But my kids visit me and I know they love me. Now i get that time with them.

allen0187 I do also like the day to go as scheduled, but for th most part we follow a set routine so it's not that difficult.

Sorry to hear about the marriage problems and the limited time with your kids inertia4 . Hope things work out to your liking.

Good for you then nbaquero . Is it the same schedule everyday or does the routine vary depending on the day?
Just curious.

&allen Sort of... Monday thru Friday has certain routine, while the weekend has a different routine. But nothing is written in stone, and we make changes as necessary.

allen0187 That's okay. It's no big deal. I dealt with it all. The ex is just a moron. I have moved on. And I do know my kids love me. So to me, that's all that matters.

No worries about the mistype nbaquero .
Weekends are either to go out to the mall or to watch a movie. Basically, weekends are meant to be 'fun days' for the whole family.

A schedule keeps me in check. Otherwise I just daydream and follow any whim that comes up. Artists usually do that.

AthenaGoodlight , daydreaming all day sounds like a plan to me! Plus, I embrace the chance to follow my whim as I please!
