Entertaining Kids with Tablets
With the kind of advancement that we have today in technology, we are getting more and more glued to our gadgets. There are kids today who do not go out and play like how we used to back in the 80s and 90s. Most of them are glued to tablets and computers. Another thing why kids today are so glued to gadgets is because it is a very easy way to distract them aside from the television because there is "interaction" in the game. But is there really? Think twice before letting your kid hold that tablet for the whole day. Because even us adults do not socialize the way we do before because we are engrossed with the statuses of others on Facebook and other social networking sites.

My niece and nephew can really get engrossed to it but after helping their parents with some household chores....

I always make my kids have "no electronics" most of the day. I hear "I'm bored" and I go tell them to use their imagination and go play. If they were allowed to, they would certainly be on a tablet, ipod, wii or laptop all day.
