Agree to Disagree?

Agree to Disagree?

(I think) today I will take a break from sharing my sad Google AdSense story and simply spend time writing and sharing whatever pops into my head while rambling around Persona Paper.

To that end, here I am. Right now there is a hot topic going on about if we should have a timer built in to monitor when we can post. To get in on the discussion, hop on over here and have your say - it’s important for the PP community and your voice MATTERS.

Lots of folks have weighed in already and lots have offered reasons why or why not. ALL very valid points, too - in my humble opinion; I rather enjoy people who are unafraid to speak their mind.

Even when they disagree.

No matter what MaeLou and elitecodex ultimately decide about the post timer debate, I feel confident they will consider our points carefully. This site is dependent on happy contributors; and keeping us happy will ensure that we will produce the very thing they most need right now - good, QUALITY (make note of that, I’ll be visiting it later today) content .

Not all of us agree about the post timer issue.

Good thing, that. What a horribly “Stepford Wives” life THAT would be.

The lesson here?

It’s okay to disagree. To share your different thoughts and reasons why you feel one way and another feels that way. I am MOST IMPRESSED also, that we have kept our heads and been respectful throughout. Let's keep it up in that regard, please and thank you.

Agree to disagree? Of course. It’s what helps make the world go round. People of all kinds, coming together - even if sometimes it is only to agree to disagree.

Cheers!

Please Note: Anytime I offer any tips or tricks pertaining to PP, or anything else for that matter, know that all of it is just what I’ve observed as I traipse

along this life. If you have a hankering to dispute, disagree, or otherwise share your better advice, PLEASE do. I’m here to learn, same as you :)

It would be an extremely boring world if we all agreed on everything. I don't have an issue about the post spacing myself. That is primarily because I do it on my own. I learned when I started writing on Bubblews that by spacing my posts, they all did better. So I set my own limitations since Bubblews didn't do it automatically. I waited until each of my posts received at least 20 likes before posting again. That helped keep my posts from being buried before their time and actually increased my overall earnings quite a bit.

I did the same thing, basically momathome - and I agree with you, it is helpful to have them spaced, for earnings etc. Unfortunately, that's not really an issue here at the moment. We need more folks and more content right now. Restricting our posting may turn folks away... In the long term, it won't matter because there will be more people and more posts. Good for ALL of us for sure. I generally space mine out here, well, today it's been an hour in between each - that's been naturally, not forced - maybe it's psychological...

If we could all agree to be fair about posting - for the greater good of the community AND for our own pockets (people should relate to that, lol) then maybe MaeLou and elitecodex will agree to lift it completely. Maybe we are balking because it feels forced. Maybe if we just all take a breath and see what happens with all the new folks here...

Anyway...just more thoughts as they came to be...

I like that everyone has differing opinions, and when people speak up, it puts ideas in our head to better the site. We still like to do what the majority of the community wants, but the rest of the community has to realize, we're doing it because of the majority....listening to our members - not just putting in whatever rules we want and not caring how the members feel about it.

Exactly. And what you are leaning toward (10) is very reasonable for what we need right now. Serial posters won't last long here anyway and SERIOUS posters know the importance of spacing!

I am sure they will decide for the best, anyway it is impossible always to please everybody.

Yes, we can agree to disagree and all work together for the good of the site. This was a nice take on things... :)

Better decisions are made when there's different points of view. So I appreciate we're being asked for our opinions.
