Tips on creating a Persona Paper poll

So, I just created my first Persona Paper poll. Was it done correctly?

Hmmm, as always it was live and learn. I made a few goofs, and ended up deleting the first one. Still had one goof in the second one, but I won't mention it and maybe you won't notice! (You can check out the poll if you want ... it's called, "Should Persona Paper list most recent comments first?")

I'd give you the link ... but well, I've not even been here for a full day and I'm not sure of the rules about including links to our own articles. Maybe someone will be kind enough to let me know in a comment?

At any rate, here are the tips on creating a Persona Paper poll....

Put a title on for the poll.

Click the correct category.

Write a blurb about the poll; there's the 500 character mimimum rule to be followed. (See author's note, below.)

List voting option 1 in the "Current options" box on the bottom left. Hit return/enter. List your next option in the "Current options" box. Repeat.

Give more than just a yes or no, like or dislike option to vote on. Makes it more fun for readers.

Proof your poll. You can not edit a poll (at the time of writing this article, but Support is working on it), you can only delete it and rewrite.

Proof your poll again. Be sure to proof the voting options, not just your blurb.

How about you? Have you done a poll yet? Any tips for us?

(Author's note on mimumum characters for a poll: says, "While it doesn't have to be quite as much as a full article, still a decent amount." And says it needs to be 400 characters, minimum. DorothyLynn says, "Choose what you feel is the safest choice.")

I haven't made any polls yet.
Your first...errr...second... poll was GREAT.
I did note your boo-boo but I'm not perfect either ;)
Character count for polls is currently 400.
Polls cannot be edited at this time.
After participating in your poll I was compelled to create my first, although I need to finish publishing my Google Story first.
That's about all I know emoticon  Cheers!

#SandraLynn ... really? 400 character count for polls? Well, that's even better. I'll have to edit this post and fix my boo-boo. Thanks for mentioning it. :)

I have not done a poll yet but already tinkered with it just to see what it looks like.

I would definitely love to see expirations on polls, though it would defeat getting additional likes, views or what not; it makes sense to be able to make a summary about it after it expires. Then go ahead and make a summary post about it; something like: 25% of respondents voted YES to poll question 1, etc.

I have not created a poll yet. I knew there was a few rules to learn first. Thank you for sharing this valuable information. It will help those who create polls.
