My Actual Google AdSense Cancellation Email - Read HERE!

And then came the email.

Now. If you must know, in the retelling of this story, throughout the last three years, I’ve said...

...WRONGLY ( sorta ), I recently discovered, by going back through my emails...

...that Google AdSense cancelled my account because they said (wrote) that I might someday in the future , do something that could jeopardize them or their advertisers.

What they actually said was this:

“Hello,

After reviewing our records, we’ve determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due to invalid activity, we’ve found it necessary to disable your AdSense account. Your outstanding balance and Google’s share of the revenue will both be fully refunded back to the affected advertisers.

Please understand that we need to take such steps to maintain the effectiveness of Google’s advertising system, particularly the advertiser-publisher relationship. We understand the inconvenience that this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

If you have any questions or concerns about the actions we’ve taken, how you can appeal this decision, or invalid activity in general, you can find more information by visiting... (a supposed Google support group, more on this later...) .

Now. I’ve included this entire communication here. It was sent to me. It is important to the story. There is no note stating that I can’t share it here. And I am 88.8% sure that I’m not the only one who has received these (form letter?) words from Google AdSense.

Oh, and let’s not forget what appears first in the email:

“This message was sent from a notification-only email address that does not accept incoming email. Please do not reply to this message.”

And the title?

“Google AdSense Account Disabled.”
