Horses sweat....

I don’t know about you, but heard somewhere along the way the ladies neither sweat nor perspire, they glow. The “old horses sweat, men perspire and ladies glow.” I have no idea where this quote came from.

Temperatures are warm and muggy here in North Carolina. I’ve been working outside trying to get some yard work taken care of and shifting some chicken fencing and in the process I have proven that I must be a horse. When perspiration begins to drip off it has gone beyond glowing, and since I know quite definitely I am not a man, that leaves horse as my only option.

I can’t imagine how I am going to break this news to my husband...

The photo is my own.

lol! My grandmothers saying was that men sweat, ladies perspire, lol. My response to her was, well since I'm not a "lady" I'm sweating! lol. She would just roll her eyes and shake her head and say she didn't know what she was going to do with me.

I never heard that saying, but I have to say that when I do hard work I also sweat. Now I am thinking to all those young girls jogging, they "sweat" like horses, are they horses?

Never thought of it quite that way before....

This really made me laugh, let us know what your hubby says when you break the news to him :)

Very funny ... not sure your husband will take the news well. But you could always get him out there, working up a sweat, and then you'd both be horses! :)

OK, this is totally off subject, but where was the picture taken? It looks like Utah - maybe Arches or Canyonlands National Parks?
