Waiting for the UPS Driver
Have you ever been waiting for the UPS driver to show up with something and it seems like you are the last person on their delivery list for the day. You sit there, and wait, and wait, and wait. That is what I am doing today and it is hard to sit here and write posts while this is weighing on my mind.
You start to wonder if maybe he got in accident and won’t make it today, or if he ran out of gas or something else happened.
Your mind can make up all kinds of stories and calamities while you sit there.
I now think we should have taken care this last week so there would not be the time pressure now.
There it is that 20-20 hindsight that never fails to show up after the fact. Why is that?
Where is brown when you need him?

I'll never forget the time I ordered my daughter the last movie in the Harry Potter series from Amazon. I had pre-oreded it and it was supposed to be delivered on the day it was released. She sat and watched for the UPS driver from first thing in the morning until he finally showed up at 9:30 that night, lol. She wanted to camp out in the front yard until he got there and was very upset because it was November so I wouldn't let her! lol.

I have noticed that every time I order something that I really needs it comes later than usual.

ketchingup ha ha it's so true. Whenever you need something delivered soon you are the last on their list.
