Finally Back After 4 Years
Wow, time flies so fast. First thing I knew I was still reading and commenting to articles here.
Then, that suddenly changed when I got hired, well 6 years ago. I was able to visit here during my first two years of offline work. The schedule became rough for me. I always end up asking my colleagues if they like my schedule but no one seems nice enough. That's life.
And then COVID-19 hits us back in 2020 of March. That second week was a chaos. Companies shut down but eventually made decisions that employees can work from home. The management sent work equipment like PC, headsets and even paid for internet bills for their employees. Small or big businesses were closed. And some reinvented their services. The food deliveries became the norm. Only the essentials can go out.
Fast forward to 2022, restrictions have been lifted up. While Omicron is not that severely affecting the population, restrictions to more places have been downgraded.
It is a good news. More people can go out and about.
But Hong Kong as I write this, they are now experiencing the surge of Omicron. Back in January, last month, my Brother-in-law was tested positive for the virus. He was isolated in my house while all of us stayed in my brother's house.
I am glad that I was able to retrieve my account. Changed my password and here I am logged in. But sadly, my country is included in that blacklist.

I'm still isolating, despite what leniencies the government may impart at present. Eventually...

Hopefully all the restrictions will be lifted soon. Welcome back. Just to let you know, there are no payouts with Personapaper any more.

So far, so good. I did just lose an old friend living in Illinois, to Covid-19. The irony is, she was in the hospital, released, and died in rehabilitation.

Sorry to hear that VinceSummers . My husband has had covid but is rehabilitating at home after "escaping" from hospital.

Well, THAT'S good. One or two of my grandchildren in my home contracted Covid, but if my wife or I ever got it, it was not obvious at all.

Congratulations that you've surpassed all those things. Honestly speaking, I was a COVID survivor way back August 2021.
