My Kind Of Corona
Hi PPers.
Been awhile since I wrote a post here. Figured I'd start with my kind of Corona... Corona Extra to be exact! As you can see from the photo, mine is ice cold straight from the fridge. It is ice cold and has the consistency of a 7-11 Slurpee. It would have been better with lemon wedges but hey, I'll make do with what I have. Since the lock down has been in effect again in my country, the alcohol ban was also reinstated. It sure feels like the Prohibition Era. Not sure why they think that putting a ban on the selling and public consumption of alcohol is a good idea. I'm all for banning the consumption of alcohol in public but let the people buy their alcohol and drink peacefully in private at their own homes. I bet if they did that at the start of the lock down, people would have been happy getting drunk at home.
Anyway, it sure is nice to be back. Now let me enjoy my beer.

Yes, the off licences (for selling alcohol to consume at home) were one of the first businesses opened in the UK after the start of lockdown. I think there has been a LOT more alcohol drunk since lockdown started.

Wow, it's odd that they banned alcohol. Maybe they thought people would develop a drinking problem if they drank at home.
