Cancel Culture Has Gotten Out Of Hand
I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of cancel culture. People get offended at the drop of a hat. Sometimes there's reason to be offended, but oftentimes it boils down to personal taste.
If you don't like what it is you're watching on TV, change the damn channel. If somebody offended you by what they said, don't listen.
People are debating the removal of statues and even Mount Rushmore itself because those men weren't perfect individuals. Trying to erase history sets a dangerous precedent, and we need to beware before going down that path.
People with a self inflated sense of importance feel the need to flex their egos. They can't make a dent in their own lives, so they mess up other people's lives. Cancel this! Cancel that!
My response to these people is to get a life. We're not meant to like every little thing that we see in this world, but the things that we don't like often have no effect on us if we don't pay attention to them.
Then again, some people aren't happy unless they're dragging other people down into their own misery. It's one of the big problems with the world today. To them I say, get over yourself. Nobody cares about your feelings.

We cannot change history. We need to learn from it and improve today.

Agree with you that cancel culture has gotten out of one. People are overly sensitive these days. It seems that every little bit is given too much attention and people get their fragile little egos hurt easily.
