I live in the country with the worst statistics for coronavirus! There's good reason to fear this. I live in a county of Virginia experiencing relatively few cases. What surprises me is that a lot of places are inclined to open schools quickly, as if the children will suffer severely if they miss a year of school. That seems most unbalanced to me. All past generations had children who had years less education than now and yet, they survived. Besides, schools are about the worst source of disease for households. Parents and others often get sick from children bringing home illness!

You are right my friend. The president postponed the reopening of schools to September. Other lockdowns are still in place.

I am sorry for people who have been severely hit with covid19
