I am a Librarian by Profession

Yes, you read my title right. I am a Librarian by profession. Technically, I started my career as an Assistant Librarian after my College graduation last March 1998. I tried myself to take a Librarian Licensure Examination few months after my graduation but I failed. So, I am not going to consider myself as a Librarian yet. It took me several years just to take my second examination, and I passed last 2005. Then, I am enjoying my license as a Registered Librarian. But for now, I am no longer a Librarian because I tried another career as a Customer Service Representative last July 10, 2019. And my Librarian License was already expired last August 14, 2019. But because of my new career, my health condition became an issue maybe the reason is I am not a part of it, so, the trend of being a Customer Service Representative is not for me. I decided to file a resignation for it just to get back as a Librarian, my original profession. Based on my application to renew my license, I am very glad, that Philippine Regulatory Commission granted me to renew my license on November 15, 2019. And after that, I have a free time again to apply for as a Librarian, my first love of profession. I am very much excited for that day.

I love books. I think if I were a librarian I would spend all day reading!

That's most interesting. I often have felt sorry I could not find an opening for a part-time librarian or librarian's assistant.

Yes, I agree with you. Actually, I became a librarian because of my passion in reading. Is a sort of I do not know, what exactly really happens.
