Is Part of Your Diet a Hunter's Meat?

Prices are ridiculously high. It appeals to many to go hunting for meat. While hunters are aware hunting doesn't provide "free" meat, venison, turkey, bear and other game meats certainly are cheaper than store-bought beef, lamb, pork, and even chicken.

But even the hunter can be unaware of the health of an animal they shoot. In fact, I write about how that is so and the consequences of it in my article, entitled:

Can Eating the Meat of a Rabid Animal Give You Rabies?

Perhaps you are not a hunter, though. Still, have you ever eaten meat given you by a hunter? If so, this topic should be of concern to you, as well. Plus, the article touches on prion-driven diseases.

Good advice, look at the health of the animal and don't eat from sick animals.
