Please Don't hundred dollar dangle me!
My stepson had his friend come over to visit, but for reasons I can't even imagine. His friend was no friend of ours. We didn't know the guy.
He was over just to pay us a visit. My stepson's manager at their company, who boasted of his forty-thousand dollar original oils on his walls. He pulled out a one-hundred-dollar bill and waved it in my face.
He said he won it along with several thousand in a poker match. - so, I guess it's easy come, easy go or FINDER'S KEEPERS, LOSERS, WEEPERS. - "LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY"
I thought to myself. How very rude of this guy! I was thinking of saying, "Please do not dangle that hundred in front of me." - but instead, I grabbed it from his hand and went around the room saying. "Thanks. We really could use that money." - while walking all around the room dangling the bill in the same manner my step-son's friend did to me.
I kept that hundred dollar bill and his friend never asked me to give it back. My wife was embarrassed by my actions, my step-son alarmed and surprised. His friend, angry from humiliation. I felt vindicated.
I was the one insulted. I taught that man a lesson. Don't hundred dollar dangle me or I will snatch it from your braggart hand.
