Do Unnecessary Surgical Cosmetic Changes Bother You?

I enjoy old movies. If you're over 40, likely you do. I enjoy good acting and an intelligent storyline. I don't demand action. I don't care about special effects. So forth and so on.
But I can enjoy a wide range of presentations. One thing that really bothers me, especially in more modern movies. It has to do with an unnecessary surgical cosmetic change. It's not the often discussed mammary enlargements. But it does have to do with an enlargement of sorts.
It is "silicone lips". They are SO GROSS. I can spot 'em a mile away. That tilted, fat, upper lip is just appalling. I can't watch it. I have to watch something else. Why do women not realize and thinner upper lip is normal and does not look unappealing?

I am not in favour of cosmetic changes where they are purely for "appearance".

I agree. Of course I except unusual situations, such as cosmetic surgery when the person has been seriously burned, or hurt in a car accident. That is entirely different.

I had surgery to remove a tumor of my right parotid bland, so for that reason I favored their making me look about as normal as apple pie after the surgery. I was very pleased with the results.
