Soggy doggy!

YEP, THAT'S ME! We have been having some fantastic warm and sunny weather in Scotland over the past few days so my mum decided to get out the paddling pool for my big sister and brother to use after school.

Of course, I had to get involved in the process of setting out and filling the pool. I had great fun guiding the hose into the pool and trying to catch the water coming out of it. My mum just lets me get on with it and doesn't seem to mind that I get a bit wet and bedraggled-looking.

I'm not supposed to get well and truly soaked 'cos my mum has to not only dry me but groom and comb me afterwards - and believe me neither of us like that very much!

Still, it's worth it when my brother and sister come home and dive into the paddling pool. The fun they have is great, especially when some of their friends come round to join in.

I'm always the star of the show since they all try to persuade me to climb into the pool with them and when I don't they soak me anyway! So it's not my fault that I usually end up looking like a drowned rat.

This time I managed to avoid a complete soaking but I still had lots of fun. My grandad took a couple of pictures:

Hi Rocco, Cooper isn't as brave as you, he totally avoids the water! Hope you continue to enjoy paddling.

I love the water. If I wasn't a dog I think I'd be a dolphin!

The words that come to mind are, "IT'S ABOUT TIME I GOT A CHANCE TO CHILL."
