Can't wait for Monday

I'm a hockey fan and the Stanley Cup Finals start on Monday May 28th. The two teams that have made it to the finals are the Vegas Golden Knights and the Washington Capitals. I had been cheering on those two teams to make it to this point and now I will continue to cheer for the Golden Knights. It should be quite an exciting series of games. Will you be watching?

The Golden Knights are a new team just came into the league this year and already in their first year are going to the finals, that is pretty amazing. I don't believe any other expansion team in any of the 4 major sports here in America have ever done that. They had a 51-24-7 record this year and won their series in the playoffs 4-0 vs the Kings, 4-2 vs the Sharks and 4-1 vs the Jets.

The Washington Capitals have been in the league since 1974, this will only be their second time in the Stanley Cup Finals. They lost in 1998 to the Detroit Red Wings in 4 straight games. This year they went 49-26-7 and won their series in the playoffs, 4-2 over the Blue Jackets, 4-2 over the Penguins and 4-3 over the Lightning.

Should be some exciting games, I am hoping for it to go the full seven games with the Golden Knights winning.

It's always exciting when a team you support moves forward. It sounds like both teams have everything to play for!

I forgot to ask my brother to record it for me. Chances are, I will get to see some of it later.

The only public sporting event I ever attended was in Philadelphia. Ice hockey. Strangely, you can get caught up in the crowd, standing and cheering. It amazed me later.
