Doomsday prophets aren't making much headway when they say they favor mass pandemics to reduce the overpopulation of the planet.

I began to see the way the doomsday prophets were going. They start out with concern for the planet, but are only whistle blowers. They do not care about anyone. They are only interested in creating fear among everyone who is lulled into listening to their end times rants.

What makes matters worse, is they often get a huge following. Then they move to the next level of their basic intentions, that is, they ask for donations. They create their own Go Fund Me Facebook walls. Once they have been followed for a few weeks or a few months their message is clear.

That message is simply that THE DOOMSDAY PROPHETS WANT TO EARN A PROFIT BY BASHING ALL THE PEOPLE AND CORPORATIONS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE DOWNFALL OF CIVILIZATION. Anyone can make this claim. I can even do it. But what's the point?

When the doomsday prophets begin to announce how happy they are when people die en mass and claim it is a good thing for large numbers of people to just die because they see human population as being the ruination of the ecosphere. They claim that the news about disasters as a positive event. When I start to hear these types of statements I realize the doomsday prophet is no more than a raving lunatic hell bent on persuading people to commit mass suicide to end the destruction of the planet's environment based on the simple fact that we humans, eat, drink and create waste products.

Good golly. That is not a positive direction to take.

On the other hand, leaving it all up to God to fix things might be putting too much of a burden on our creator. It is very hard to just lay down and accept the claims by the doomsday prophets that there is nothing we humans can do to fix things and on the other hand, waiting for God to fix things might just be another way of passing the buck and not accept responsibility. When man does try to do what is right by not creating more pollution and not having children and being kind to others is seen as mere small acts of simple minded people, it degrades us all by suggesting that man has done all he can to do destroy the planet and that a hand full of those who want to make things better, don't get enough financial support so therefore they should also just give up. This is not what God would want us to do. Everyone living today has a choice, to err on the side of being a good human being and praying for strength to do what is within his own power to change things for the better, instead of just being complacent and waiting for big government to fix things or to believe that all is hopeless and proclaim that the only solution to our earthly problems can be solved with the death of the majority of our human population just makes me angry.

I quite like what is called the Serenity prayer.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.

I do say this prayer very often. It helps me cope with things that I can not change mainly. But courage to change things is harder for me. And as to the wisdom to know the difference, I could use lots of improving in this area.

Courage to change things is difficult. It can often be a lot easier to walk by and "not see".

I have walked by many times. But not always. I mean, to walk away from someone who is in dyer need of help is impossible for me to do today. I am more mature now than I ever was before.
