Well, I was once on Instagram. I can see how it could be a useful business tool. But I noticed a lot of postings that I did not desire to view, including young women in bikini photos. So I quit the site.

A lot of it may be to do with who you follow. I don't see any women in bikinis but I do see a lot of posts on cats and shoes!

Hahahahaha... I love your response.

I thought Instagram only worked with mobiles. Maybe I was mistaken. I use my desktop PC most of the time.

You're right, it is only supposed to work with mobiles. Uploaded photos have to be taken with the phone.

I just hate Instagram, I hate posting from my phone in general and I'm really not into selfies but I am really trying hard to get better because I know how important it is for my business.

Thank you for the clarification. I will not be buying a smart phone or even a stupid phone in the near future. I am financially strapped at the moment.

I have never posted a selfie. I am learning it at present and building a following and seeing what others post. I am going to open a business related one and post items there. You can have a link in your bio. Another way of using social media.

It is purely for business. I use my 20 year old text only phone most of the time and the ""smart phone" for business only. Smart is definitely a misnomer, they are dreadful!

Live videos, or stories on Instagram are the way to go in internet marketing these days, well according to the social media courses I have been taking anyway. I'm trying my best to build my online presence back up after not really doing as much for the last few years

Video is definitely big. Personally, I prefer reading, it's faster. I can help with videos if you want.

I would appreciate any tips you have, I am pretty rubbish at videos. I used to make loads of videos before they did away with windows movie maker, but I cant find software I'm comfortable with now. I also try to do live videos on facebook but although everyone thinks I'm really outgoing I actually hate being the focus of things, I hate being on camera to the point that me and the other half have been together ten years or so and there are exactly five photos of us in existence: One from a party when we first got together, one from my graduation seven years or so later, one from the ball for graduation, one from a holiday we took for my 30th and one I took the day we became homeowners.
