Is PersonaPaper Making a Comeback?

I was just checking out some website traffic trends at alexa.com, and for the fun of it looked at personapaper.com. The site ranking graph is very interesting. Between August and November of 2017 PP didn't even show up on the chart - meaning that the site's worldwide ranking was over 1 million (ranking works in reverse - the lower the better). But November saw a quick improvement in ranking, reaching a best of about 400,000 in January. Since then the ranking has worsened a bit to about 470,000 now.

Being ranked as the 470,000th most visited site in the world is not great, but it's a lot better than not making the chart at all, which was the case for most of the past year and more. I don't know if this is a positive trend that will continue, but I'd love to see PP make a real comeback. Who knows, maybe our accumulated coins might actually be worth something someday.

You can view PP's Alexa ranking at https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/personapaper.com .

I, too, watch Alexa. I, at the moment, at QuirkyScience -my site- am 240,000, plus or minus, worldwide. I hope this site, my site, and DecodedScience (another site I write for) keep improving.

If PP is making a comeback we're not seeing it reflected in our article view counter on each post. There's only a small handful of views for most articles.

Encouraging news! Yes, it would be nice to receive pay again, and certainly the site would get busier once the word got out about that, hopefully creating a snowball effect.

Hi RonElfran , I don't keep an eye on the site in Alexa. I use another tool which suggests PP is keeping its head above water. I have been sending traffic to the site but as Kasman said, we still only get a few views per article. Some of the views will hopefully be from others who are not members of the site. At the minute, it would not be possible to monetize the site again but as AliCanary said, it would be nice to get it paying again! If the rank keeps gong up, maybe the advertisers would be interested.

I, too, would love to see this site make a comeback. I have never felt so much at home as I did when this was very active.

Are you making a comeback? Haven't chatted with you in ages. LOL. Good to see you.

I see that I'm not the only one who pays attention to the Alexa data. All I can say is that MegL is doing her best to keep the site afloat and make it rise even higher and … By George! I think she's succeeding! :) GIve the lady a pat on the back! :)

Yes,it is indeed good news as I rather like persona paper with with simple yet efficient layout. I surely hope the trend will continue.

I just checked up on it, again. Only I didn't concentrate on those numbers. Rather, I concentrated on the other details. It appears the weakest aspect of Persona Paper is that few are SEARCHING for it via the search engines. Not sure of how to invite others to read this, but I'll try, MegL . Hope that works...

Thank you. I am concentrating on searches for keywords.

I just came back for the first time in like almost a year, maybe some others will come back by too.
