I heard Sears was closing all of their remaining retail stores. Could this be true or just another Fake News report?

Fake news is the new term

President Trump calls it Fake News. I wonder if anything I read nowadays is the truth, or hear from the mainstream media. Now I am starting to doubt the news media and that is not really a good thing. It's not like I doubted it at first but if our president thinks the news is FAKE, then how am I supposed to think about it?

For me, it is always a habit now, to not guess at what I think may or may not be Fake news, to Google things I am uncertain of. But it shouldn't be needed to have to depend on a search engine to find out the facts. It used to be a simple matter to just pick up a newspaper and read the headlines and find out and hope you are getting the Real news, not Fake news as our president is calling it. I mean, I read the Dallas Morning News locally and online I read from Routers and The New York Times to name a few. As for the closings of the retail stores of Sears and Roebuck, I will out of habit, Google it!

Google has a list of some stores that Sears is closing. There is so much competition these days to get a slice of the advertising pie that media will say just about anything to get eyeballs on their content.

I don't look into anything political for understanding. Neither do I put faith in whatever appears in the news. As to Sears: I strongly suspect it will, one day, fold. I recall some eight or so years ago, considering it for employment opportunities. Talking to employees, before my interview, I walked out. And my mother-in-law was once employed by them. Sad, so sad. When I lived in New Jersey, I recall Sears closed in Camden, purportedly due to abundant shoplifting. I'm just not sure Sears should continue!

I am sad that it has fallen down so far. When I worked for Sears Logistics I thought I had a job for life.

The media is a hard pill to swallow at times. I sometimes don't watch television for an entire day or more just because.
