My superhero breeks!

I HAVE NEVER really been a follower of fashion but even I can tell that these lurid trousers are unlikely to start a new fashion trend!
So how come I'm wearing them? (open the image in a new tab for a better look).
Well, once a week we visit our daughter's home in the next town for a family get-together and meal. Mrs Kasman gets there early and I arrive after work.
I would normally take a change of clothes but on this occasion I forgot and had to borrow a pair of trousers from our son-in-law - and this pair of 'superhero breeks' is what he handed me (he has a wicked sense of humour).
They are emblazoned with images of superheroes - The Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America. Our grandchildren, Ruby and Rory, thought they were hilarious and I was forced to pose for photographs and Rory, in a gesture of solidarity with his grandad, changed into his superhero underpants!
I'm always up for a bit of fun especially if it involves our grandchildren and was quite willing to wear them for the rest of the evening. However, our daughter came to see what all the hilarity was about and immediately put her foot down.
Apparently, taking the Mickey out of an ageing grandfather for his choice of 'sartorial elegance' just wasn't on! The perpetrator of this bold jest was promptly sent back upstairs with a flea in his ear and ordered to return with more suitable apparel.
I spent the rest of the evening in boring blue sweat pants whilst Rory got to keep wearing his superhero underpants!

At least you weren't given a tutu.

They look good on you. I would have kept them on. Boring blue!

I wanted to but I was overruled by a higher authority!

I must admit, they look better on a five year old. My grandson would love them.
