Flying to Europe for health and conferences

On May 10 I wrote that we would be flying to Europe at the end of May and this will be basically a medical trip. My husband will be having the second cataract operation to his other eye, and he did the first one a few years ago, with the same doctor.

I, on the other hand, will be looking for another medical opinion, as I have problems with my hip and also with walking, in addition to having Multiple Sclerosis. A neurologist checked me out on Wednesday and she found that I could feel a pin on my left leg , but not on the right one.

We will be going to Vienna first and then we will be driving to Graz, the place where our family lived for nineteen years before we moved back to Australia.

My husband will also use the time to attend two conferences, one in Udine (Italy) and the other in Rhodos (Greece). I hope our problems are solved in a short time and that it doesn’t take many months.

I hope that the trip goes well for you both and that your health problems improve.

Thanks for your wishes! I also hope that our problems improve. My husband with his second eye cataract operation and his broken tooth. I, on the other hand, have problems with MS and my hip which does not let me walk properly. But we are not the only ones, as my brother in law has also broken a leg!
